- Fabric: The most common fabric used for T-shirts is cotton jersey, with a weight range of 140-240gsm. Different weights are suitable for different clothing purposes. For presidential campaigns or one-time use, I suggest using 140gsm or even thinner fabric because the thinner the fabric, the cheaper the price. For regular brands like Nike, Adidas, or other brands, blank T-shirts with custom designs usually use fabric between 170-200gsm, with 180gsm being the most common. The classic style includes a 1×1 ribbed collar. Currently, some trendy brands use special processes such as acid wash and snow wash, which require thicker fabrics of 240gsm or even more.
Customers can choose fabrics they prefer, such as quick-drying, moisture-wicking, elastic, or suede.
- Design: Clients usually request to print their logos or designs, which is the simplest but also the most competitive aspect. Besides printing, embroidery is also possible, as well as other processes such as foaming, toothbrush embroidery, hot stamping, embossing, and 3D printing. Different processes come with different prices, with printing and embroidery being the most common and classic ones.
